Rock & Roll

At four and a half months it looked like Talulah was starting to figure out crawling. She'd put her head down and sort of plow forward with her legs. Or she'd lay on her tummy and pull herself forward with her arms.

But now, at five and a half months, this wriggling has turned into full on ROCKING! Talulah is now getting up on her hands and knees and rock, rock, rocking away!

She's pretty good at going backwards (but not on purpose) and she really wants to go forward but hasn't quite figured that part out yet. She does this sort of frog-hop thing (that's what Donovan and I have been calling it) where she rocks and scootches her legs forward together sort of like hopping, but her arms stay still so she doesn't actually go anywhere. It's adorable!

Every single day Talulah gets better and better and faster and faster at rocking. She's a little speed rocker now...Time to start baby-proofing the house!
